Dr. Sylvia Grove completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, earning a degree in Biology and Animal and Poultry Sciences.  She then attended Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2012. 

During her vet school years, she did some training in South Africa where she was privileged to assist with all sorts of animals including rhinos, elephants, zebras, and cheetahs!  After graduation, she worked as a general practice veterinarian until making the switch to urgent care in 2025.  

In her spare time, she enjoys gaming, reading, solving puzzles, and going on hikes in the mountains with her golden retriever, Sky.
