Midlothian - Emergency

Dr. Stephanie Lees is a local Richmonder, having grown up in Short Pump. She received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Virginia Tech and remained in Blacksburg to pursue her DVM at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lees always seemed to connect with the animals around quickly and deeply her and always strived to be involved in their care at a young age, which encouraged her aspirations to become a veterinarian. She enjoys helping families make informed decisions about their pets and hopes to inspire future veterinarians. Her interests include all aspects of emergency medicine, but particularly endocrine and reproductive emergencies, trauma, surgery, and compassionate end of life care. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lees enjoys spending time with her partner and three dogs, powerlifting, traveling, horseback riding, and puzzles.
