DVM, Practice Limited to Internal Medicine  |  Dr. Stephanie Dong is a Southern California native. She received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She completed a rotating small animal internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA. Her internal medicine residency was completed at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego, CA. Dr. Dong enjoys all aspects of small animal internal medicine but particularly endocrinology, immune-mediated diseases, gastroenterology, and nephrology. She performs various endoscopic procedures (including esophagoscopy, gastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy, and vaginoscopy), abdominal ultrasound imaging, laparoscopic liver biopsies, bone marrow sampling, and esophagostomy/percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement. She strives for excellence in patient care and client service and believes in collaborative management of patient care. She currently has two cats named Bubbles and Benji and a Doberman named Alice. Dr. Dong enjoys traveling and loves rock climbing, hiking, and yoga.​
