A North Carolina native, Dr. McNeill attended North Carolina State University for her undergraduate degree, graduating in 2015, and then went back to NCSU for her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, graduating in 2020. After graduation, she completed a small animal rotating internship in South Carolina. This internship focused on specialty training in small animal emergency medicine and surgery, with rotations through other major specialties as well. 

Dr. McNeill has always been passionate about emergency medicine, first starting as an assistant at a large specialty hospital in 2012 and practicing exclusively as an emergency veterinarian after graduation. Her professional interests include managing critical/intensive cases, emergency surgery, feline medicine, and compassionate end-of-life care. 

Outside of work, Dr. McNeill enjoys spending time at home with her pets (cat, dog, and horse), contra dancing, hiking, and traveling.
