(Richmond/Midlothian - Emergency)

Dr. Leila Kleemola graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatchewan, Canada in 2014. Initially starting out in general small animal practice, she felt a pull towards emergency medicine and has been working in emergency medicine most of her career. Her favorite types of cases include endocrine emergencies and urethral obstructions. Dr. Kleemola recently moved to Richmond from the Detroit, MI area, where she was working at a large emergency and referral practice as an emergency veterinarian and is excited to continue in this role here in Richmond. In her free time, Dr. Kleemola enjoys traveling, obstacle course races, game nights with her husband, spending time with her dogs, and working on home improvement projects.
