Fredericksburg - Emergency

Dr. Lizzie Kearney is originally from Lexington, KY. She discovered her interest in veterinary medicine at a young age, growing up on a small family farm and working in the horse racing industry. Dr. Kearney has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Science from University of Florida. After graduation, she attended Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout veterinary school, Dr. Kearney served in leadership roles across various student organizations, traveled abroad to assist with veterinary care in Africa, and attended national conventions centered on One Health. Following graduation, Dr. Kearney completed an internship at Blue Ridge Equine Clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia where she developed a strong interest in emergency medicine and surgery. In her free time, Dr. Kearney enjoys hiking, golfing, puzzling, and traveling. Dr. Kearney is looking forward to living in Fredericksburg and is very excited to be a part of the Virginia Veterinary Centers Team!
