Caitlin Parsley

(Fred – Emergency)

Dr. Parsley grew up in Lexington, KY. She attended Mount Holyoke College in Western Massachusetts before going on to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. There, her love of animals ranged from big to small—she worked in the equine ICU, then as a small animal student resident, even running a turtle rehab program. She interned at Animal Specialty Group, INC. in Los Angeles, completing a small animal internship before accepting an opportunity there as a full-time emergency senior. In addition to emergency medicine, she has special interests in anaphylaxis, shock, and trauma. Dr. Parsley relocated to Virginia to support her wife’s dream of pursuing medical school. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, discovering delicious new places to eat, photography, hiking, and exploring with her wife, her Great Dane Izzy, and her mixed-breed Scruffle.
