Ansley Sackett

Dr. Ansley Sackett grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Clemson University (go Tigers!) before earning her DVM at Louisiana State University in 2022 (“geaux” Tigers!). She remained at LSU for her small animal rotating internship, during which she discovered her passion for emergency and critical care. Dr. Sackett then went on to complete a residency in emergency and critical care at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Within the scope of ECC, Dr. Sackett has particular interest in polytrauma, transfusion medicine, and surgical emergencies. 

Dr. Sackett is excited to be in Virginia to be closer to family and to help serve the Richmond community! Outside of work she enjoys exploring local craft breweries, kayaking, fishing, live music, and spending time with her two rescue dogs, Santo and Felix.
