Midlothian - Urgent Care

Dr. Amy Arroyo is originally from the Midwest but moved to Central New York to attend college at Cornell University. She graduated with a degree in Human Development and Elementary Education, initially thinking she wanted to be a teacher but soon realized her true calling was veterinary medicine. After graduating from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Arroyo moved to North Carolina where she worked as a small animal general practitioner until recently relocating to Richmond to be closer to family. Dr Arroyo’s professional interests include emergency surgery, internal medicine and client education. When not at work, she enjoys hiking with her black lab Wyatt, reading (with her two cats in her lap), playing guitar, photography, gardening and home DIY projects.
